ee-xml: smart navigation and editing for your data files

ee-XML is straightforward and easy to use. You only need to learn a couple of actions to get started:

• Right click on any element or text to open the element editor
• Press ESC to close the editor - your changes are commited immediately
• Use the controls at the bottom of the editing area to add elements or text nodes
• Use the DELETE key to remove elements or text nodes.

ee-XML is free and Open Source. We are improving ee-xml nearly every-day - this is just the beginning! Our goal is to produce an editor that will be ideal for the following tasks:

• Creating and editing data files, such as XML catalogues, translation files...
• Programming using XHTML (mmh... our XML api is behaving weird with XHTML for now but we're working on it), Flex and other XML languages
• Meta-programming: creating and maintaining executable formal specifications.

We have years of expertise in creating smart ergonomics for this kind of applications and we intend to build on this. Also, we have a unique, feature driven architecture that will allow developers to extend ee-XML easily, even if they don't want to get onboard ee-XML as open source contributors.
